Elegant family home in a tree-lined community off of upper Main Street; this house is within walking distance to restaurants, shops and museums, local beaches, and the Madaket bike path.  The home features lots of windows providing abundant sunlight, an unusually large private yard, mature gardens, and ample off-street parking.  The rental rate includes use of The Nantucket Club fitness center and pools for 6 guests as well as the childrens program.

First Floor

Enter into a gracious foyer with a curved staircase, classic marble floor, half bath, and coat closet.  The foyer opens to a living room with a fireplace and comfortable seating arrangement, a formal dining room with a fireplace and with a table that comfortably seats 8, and an open kitchen/family room.  The gourmet kitchen has granite countertops, a large sink, a SubZero refrigerator/freezer, and a Wolf 6-burner gas stove.  The island has seating for 3.  Both the dining room and the family room have french doors opening onto a bluestone patio with a gas grill, and a separate dining area around a gas fire pit.  A laundry room with new high-performance LG washer and dryer and a sidekick washer is located off the kitchen.

Second Floor

The Upper Foyer is a sun-filled sitting area, the perfect spot to curl up and read a book. The master bedroom has a queen bed, a fireplace, an abundance of windows, his and her closets, and an en-suite bath with tub/shower combination and dual sinks. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a fireplace. The third bedroom has a fireplace and a double bed.  The second and third bedrooms share a hall bath with a walk-in shower and ample cabinet and counter space.  A fully stocked linen closet is also located on the second floor.

Third Floor

There are two large bedrooms.  One has two twin beds and a large walk-in closet; the other has a twin trundle bed and a desk.  Both bedrooms share a full bath with a shower.

Exterior

The bluestone patio has a Weber Genesis gas grill and seating for four around a gas fire pit.  A teak table with seating for 8 and two sun loungers are located on the lower brick patio in front of the garage. The private back garden and expansive lawn is a great place to catch beautiful sunsets. There is also a large outdoor shower/dressing room with a separate spigot for washing sand off feet and beach items.

Cottage

The cottage has a bedroom on the lower level with a hand painted double bed and a closet. The upstairs is an open concept great room featuring a loveseat and chairs TV area, a kitchenette with table and 4 chairs, and a twin trundle bed in the shape of a speedboat.  There is also a full bath with a shower.

The cottage is available for rent at $5,250 per week for those renting the house, but is unavailable for rent separately.

In July 2016, the new building was finished. Peaceful location in a quiet neighborhood, less than a mile from Sesachacha Pond and the Quidnet beach area. A few miles away is the village of 'Sconset, and the bike path is just down the road. On the first floor of the main house, there is a large living room, a dining room, and a beautiful kitchen with new appliances and a big island with extra seating. The great room leads to a study with a full bathroom and a queen sleeper sofa. There is also a separate half bathroom in the hall. There is a large laundry room, pantry, and mudroom. A 44 x 22 heated pool with a built-in hot tub can be seen from a wraparound covered porch with dining and living areas. Both have covers that can be retracted. The second floor has more laundry and two king bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The master suite has a walk-in closet and a private deck with a view of the pool and conservation land. There is a room with four bunk beds and a room with two twin beds. The bathroom is down the hall. On the lower level, there is a living room with a wet bar, ping-pong, surround sound, and a king bed. There is an extra king bed in the Studio.

Cozy three-bedroom cottage in Siasconset's Cod Fish Park. The first floor has a room with two twin beds, a room with a queen bed, and a bathroom in the hall. The kitchen and living room are small. The lower level has a bathroom and a bedroom with a queen-size bed. This is also where the laundry room is. The loft above the kitchen has a queen bed, a half bath, a fireplace, and views of the ocean. Beautiful furniture with a country look. Three (one on each floor).
