Eric Holch is a renowned artist and printmaker from Nantucket Island. His portfolio includes limited edition serigraph prints, posters, and his own line of nautical-inspired silk neckties. His works have been exhibited in over 250 galleries and museums around the world—from the U.S. and Bermuda to England, Japan, and Australia. His creations have also been featured on magazine covers, posters, cards, linens, puzzles, and more.
Holch developed his art skills at Trinity-Pawling School, where he won the first annual art award. He furthered his studies in art, architecture, and art history at Hobart College and since then has been lauded with various awards at juried exhibitions in New England.
Holch is also a member of the Nantucket Artist’s Association, and his work is part of many private, corporate, institutional, and museum collections in the U.S., Japan, Australia, and Europe. His older prints are now highly sought after and valued from $1,000 to $3,500.
Holch began his own gallery in 1993 on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts. In 2017, his artwork was made available in two new places – at Shanty #9 on Old South Wharf and at his home on 5 Pine Street, two blocks up from Main Street.
