Pi Pizzeria is an old-school-styled Nantucket trattoria that combines Italian and American cuisines prepared using traditional methods. It also has a bar that stocks a range of Italian drinks.

Evan Marley started the business as a small venture in 2001 and five years later moved into the present 11 West Creek Road establishment. The business has grown into a mid-sized business with over 14 staff members from diverse cultures.

The premise is a ground-floor establishment with a warm ambiance. It features ample parking at the front and back and provides handicapped customers with dedicated parking and ramp access at the back. Indoor and patio seating is provided for dine-in customers.

Operations

The business employs a first come, first served model in its bar & restaurant service. Its staff adequately caters to the influx of customers streaming in during open hours.

The restaurant is open all week except Tuesday when it offers takeout-only service. Lunch pick-up hours are between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Dinner dine-in and take-out hours are between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Seasonal schedules and breaks are displayed on the diner’s website and social media channels.

Pi Pizzeria offers customized family-style holiday menu call-in service for groups under 6. It takes non-cancelable orders at least 24 hours in advance, and payment is charged at the time of order placement.

In addition to food and drinks, the diner provides a holiday gift card service and sells limited-edition branded merchandise.

The restaurant accepts payment via major credit cards, including Amex, Visa & MasterCard.

Menu

Pi Pizzeria attempts to recreate authentic Naples pizza using a commercial wood fire oven and authentic ingredients such as imported San Marzano tomatoes, whole milk mozzarella, and traditional Naples toppings. Customers ordering pizza choose ingredients to include in their pie toppings.

The cold subs menu includes Italian, Silician, and Calabrese dishes. Hot subs comprise meatballs, eggplant and chicken parm, sausages, steaks, and cheese. Other dishes include soups, salads, seafood, and sauces.

The eatery offers a choose-your-own-adventure Antipasti appetizer menu, where customers can select their servings from a long list of meats, cheese, and vegetables.

The Pi Pizzeria bar has dozens of bottled and canned beverages on its shelves, available in-house and to-go. Drinks on the menu include Italian wines, beers, liquors, fruit drinks, sodas, and iced tea. Coca-cola variants are also included on the beverages menu.

The take-out store includes candies, snacks, cookies, and other all-natural pastries with variants made in-house and sourced from other processors.
