The Greydon House hotel is home to Via Mare, a restaurant with a Venetian style that focuses on the changing seasons of the garden and sea and has an easy-to-understand wine list.

Via Mare is the newest and most anticipated Nantucket restaurant, and it is the brainchild of the same people behind the popular Ventuno Restaurant and the award-winning Pizzeria Gemelle.

The food at Via Mare is unlike anything else on the island, offering a quirky take on classic Venetian fare (small dishes and lively drinking). At the Greydon House, dine in the darkly lighted ambience of Via Mare and savor their delicious meal.

Via Mare’s adventurously curated food, wine, and cocktail programs are inspired by Venice’s lengthy history as a center for the spice trade. Simply put, it has an Italian flavor.

The famous company Roman & Williams designed the interior of Via Mare. It has a bohemian living room/com-bar, a small dining room with a view of Broad St., a covered porch, and cafe-style seating on the street.
